Founding partners Kevin Benedicto and Jacqueline Simonovich attended the California Lawyers Association’s 2026 Solo & Small Firm Summit in Newport Beach, joining attorneys from across California for two days of education, collaboration, and professional development focused on the business and future of legal practice. The summit brought together solo practitioners, small firm owners, and legal industry leaders to share practical strategies for building successful, ethical, and sustainable law practices.

Benedicto & Simonovich LLP is pleased to announce the launch of its Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group, expanding the firm’s services to help businesses and individuals resolve disputes efficiently, strategically, and outside the courtroom.

The new practice group will be led by founding partner Kevin Benedicto, who brings a unique combination of litigation, public service, and dispute-resolution experience to this work. In addition to his decade of experience representing clients in complex litigation, Kevin serves as a member of the San Francisco Police Commission, where he presides over, mediates, and helpsresolve disciplinary matters involving high-stakes and sensitive issues.
