Speaking Engagement: Kevin Benedicto to Speak on Sustainable AI Infrastructure and Regulations at SF Climate Week
BenSim Law is pleased to share that partner Kevin Benedicto will be speaking at San Francisco Climate Week as part of the Accelerating the Transition conference, a multi-day event convening leaders focused on clean energy, climate policy, and emerging technologies.
Kevin will join a panel titled “Sustainable AI Infrastructure – Policy & Regulations,” which will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, infrastructure development, and climate considerations. The discussion will focus on how policy and regulatory frameworks can address the growing energy demands of AI systems while supporting responsible innovation and deployment.
Hosted at UC Law San Francisco, Accelerating the Transition brings together policymakers, academics, investors, and industry leaders—including participants from institutions such as the California Energy Commission, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley—to examine practical, policy-driven approaches to accelerating the clean energy transition.
As reflected in event programming and related discussions around SF Climate Week, the panel will contribute to a broader dialogue on aligning next-generation technologies with sustainability goals, with particular attention to infrastructure scaling, regulatory coordination, and long-term climate impact.
Accelerating the Transition is part of SF Climate Week, a citywide initiative that convenes thousands of participants across hundreds of events focused on advancing climate solutions through cross-sector collaboration.
