BenSim Law Partners Speak at Bar Association of San Francisco Program on Interviewing and Career Development

Partners Kevin Benedicto and Jacqueline Simonovich recently participated as speakers at a program hosted by the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Diversity & Inclusion Committee. The program, “Interview Tips for Underrepresented and First Generation Attorneys,” focused on providing practical guidance for navigating the law firm interview process, including remote, on-site, and callback interviews. 

The program addressed a range of topics, including:

  • How to prepare effectively for legal interviews

  • What law firms look for in candidates

  • Common pitfalls and lessons learned

  • Interviewing in the post-COVID legal environment 

The discussion also highlighted the unique challenges faced by underrepresented and first-generation attorneys, offering practical strategies for navigating those barriers and succeeding in the hiring process.
